Jury Decides Samuel Woodward’s Fate: Guilty of Murdering High School Classmate Blaze Bernstein Over Sexual Orientation
According to nbcconnecticut, a man named Samuel Woodward has been found guilty of killing his former high school friend, Blaze Bernstein, in 2018. The jury decided that Woodward killed Bernstein because he was gay.

The trial showed that Woodward had planned to kill Bernstein after becoming angry when he saw Bernstein’s phone light on. He buried Bernstein’s body in a shallow grave and it was later found by the police. The judge’s decision brings relief to Bernstein’s family, who have been seeking justice for their son’s death. They are happy that the person who killed their son will not be able to harm anyone else.
