A Plymouth man was arrested on Sunday after allegedly biting off a chunk of another man’s ear during a drunken altercation, according to the published article of BOSTON.COM. According to police, the victim pleaded with O’Driscoll not to bite his ear but his pleas were ignored. Officers arrived at the scene to find a “two inch” piece of the victim’s ear preserved in a cup of ice water. The gruesome injury left the victim with severe disfigurement and the encounter ended with O’Driscoll’s arrest. Michael O’Driscoll faces charges of assault and battery with serious bodily injury and mayhem. Police released a mugshot showing O’Driscoll with what appears to be blood smeared on his head and face.
