According to KTVZ, The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is helping people buy electric cars by offering money back. Oregonians can apply for electric car rebates from April 3rd to June 3rd to make electric cars cheaper. But only a limited amount of money is available so people should apply electric car rebates fast. After June 4th no more electric car rebates will be given for cars bought during this time.

Oregon offers electric car rebates of up to $2,500 or $7,500 for electric car buyers with the larger rebate aimed at lower-income individuals. These incentives aim to make electric cars more affordable and reduce pollution. Even if you miss the electric car rebates window, federal tax credits may still help with costs. Oregon sets aside $12 million yearly for these electric car rebates, covering all program expenses. Other organizations in Oregon also provide incentives for electric cars and charging stations contributing to cleaner transportation and the fight against climate change.
