Authorities think that a 38-year-old father seized his 10-year-old son, who vanished after the boy’s mother was discovered dead in her residence.

The Wilmer Police Department released an Amber Alert on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Ian Aguilar was last seen at around 7:30 a.m. the day before. It is believed by the police that Ian Aguilar was abducted by his father, Juan Aguilar-Cano, and that Ian Aguilar is in “grave or immediate danger.”

Their last known vehicle was a brown Chevrolet Tahoe. According to a Wilmer Police update, the car was found by law authorities, but Ian Aguilar and Juan Aguilar-Cano were not present.

The automobile was discovered at a Houston Tornado Bus Company stop, according to NBC DFW. It is said that the bus firm has multiple routes to Mexico.

According to reports, Ian Aguilar’s mother’s death is also thought to have been related to Juan Aguilar-Cano. Zuleika Lopez was the mother, according to KDFW-TV. When Lopez did not arrive for work, Lopez’s adult daughter reportedly started to worry. Upon arriving at Lopez’s residence, she discovered her mother dead within.

“The detectives came out weeping, so it ought to have been a really brutal murder,” a neighbour told KDFW.
