A 25-year-old guy was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing his younger cousin and killing two female relatives, placing one of their bodies in a bank parking lot.
On Wednesday, Nov. 15, at around 11 p.m., deputies were summoned to an abandoned Chase bank drive-thru centre on the 9700 block of Wortham Boulevard. There, they discovered the body of a girl. This is according to Harris County Sgt. Ben Beall. Around 9:30 p.m., a janitor at the building next door reported to deputies that she heard gunshots. When her son came home from work, he found the body in the parking lot.
After reviewing security footage, Homicide Unit investigators arrived at the location and discovered the suspect was operating a four-door Chevrolet pickup truck with foldable blue boxes in the bed. The patrol was alerted by deputies to search for the truck.
Tragedy Strikes: 12-Year-Old Girl Reports Double Homicide and Sexual Assault
A 12-year-old girl called again at around three in the morning, reporting that her grandmother and mother had both been shot and killed, while authorities were looking into the woman’s death at the bank. She allegedly said that while her cousin was sleeping in another room, she was sexually abused. When deputies arrived at the girl’s home in the 11500 block of Deep Meadow Boulevard, they noticed a truck that fit the suspect’s car description.
The girl was taken from the house by deputies. Later, a 25-year-old male left the house and was picked up without a hitch. Beall claimed that when he was arrested, he was carrying a knife and a gun.
Deputies entered the residence under duress to perform a welfare check on the 12-year-old daughter after she allegedly told them her mother was dead inside. They discovered the mother dead in a bedroom. According to Beall, the unidentified person is being charged with capital murder.
