Bling Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead celebrated Brandon Belmonte’s arrest as the New York businessman was charged with fraud.
According to a federal indictment, the 39 year old Brandon Belmonte was taken into custody in Brooklyn Federal Court for allegedly employing two straw buyers to secure financing for his fleet of high end vehicles while suppressing the fact that they would actually be rented out to customers of his company, VIP Cars NYC, in Astoria and the Bronx.
The city businessman, Brandon Belmonte, whom the flamboyant Brooklyn Bishop Lamor Whitehead accused him of slandering the latter to the FBI resulted in federal charges has been arrested for allegedly operating a fictitious luxury automobile rental business.
In March, Whitehead filed a slander lawsuit against Brandon Belmonte, claiming that Brandon Belmonte had lied to the New Yorker in January and had accused the flashy bishop of extorting money from him for a Bronx development project.

Whitehead blasted about Brandon Belmonte, saying “This indictment vindicates me.”
This demonstrates that Brandon Belmonte, whom the prosecution has described as a ‘businessman,’ is essentially a con artist as stated by Whitehead. Brandon Belmonte has set him up and has scammed many victims supposedly taking millions of dollars from them, he added.
After Brandon Belmonte was taken into custody, Whitehead pleaded the US Attorney Damian Williams to look into his case and drop the pending fraud charges against him.
