On the evening of August 29, 2024, Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were hit by a drunk driver while bicycling in Oldmans Township, New Jersey, resulting in the death of both brothers. Both the brothers were riding a bicycle around 8 pm. Then a motorcycle driver hit him from behind. Police reached the spot around 8:19 pm and found the two brothers dead.
