A man was punished for hurting a pedicab driver badly. Andrew Melton Demetre, 24, hit Travis Odell while driving drunk and then left the scene. Travis was hurt very badly and had to stay in the hospital for a long time.

Demetre got one year in jail and four years of probation. He has to follow certain rules and can’t do certain things. Travis’s family is still dealing with the effects of the accident. They took legal action against Demetre to get money for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
