Carjacking Incident Leads to Police Chase Across Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center
According to CBSNews, in Minneapolis, police rushed to a scary situation after a carjacking incident with a weapon was reported near 26th Avenue North and Thomas Avenue North. Soon after, officers saw the stolen car and started chasing it. The chase went from north Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center but had to be stopped when police lost sight of the car near Highway 100 and 57th Avenue North. Unfortunately, the trouble didn’t end there, as the stolen car crashed later on Medicine Lake Road in Plymouth.

Suspect Hospitalized After Carjacking Crash; Police Balance Safety in Pursuits
After the crash, the driver was taken fast to North Memorial Medical Center for a check-up. Once the doctors say it’s okay, the suspect will be taken to jail for being involved in the carjacking and the chase. Luckily, no one else got hurt in the accident, but the quick and risky chase shows how hard it is for police to keep everyone safe during these situations. As investigators look into what happened, it’s a reminder for authorities to find the right balance between catching suspects and keeping everyone safe.
