A week subsequent to Garrison Brown’s funeral, his sister Madison Brown Brush, 28, conveyed a strong message about the significance of discussing mental wellness.

In an Instagram video posted on March 18, Madison, the oldest child of Kendall Brown and his former girlfriend Janelle Brown, stated, “I wanted to get back to normalcy here, but I want to address some things first.”

“Mental health is so vital, and I don’t think we do enough to raise awareness of it or talk about it enough. Garrison’s problem was mental health, not bullying or a lack of affection, and I will keep discussing mental health and self-care.

And the 28-year-old, who is married to Caleb Brush and has three children, Axel, Evangalynn, and Josephine, thought back on their discussions on Garrison’s challenging use of social media.

Disagreement

At the age of 25, Garrison was discovered dead at his Flagstaff, Arizona, residence on March 5. Although the official cause of death is still unknown, authorities told NBC News that it seems to be a suicide.

Although her siblings “disagree” on a number of things, Madison shared insight into the dynamics of her family and said that during the past few weeks, they have joined together to grieve Garrison.

“Time is so precious and if you’re not happy with how you’re spending your time, and you don’t feel fulfilled in life, then I would encourage you to reevaluate,” she stated. “Thank you to all of you who have shown love and kindness in the last few weeks.”
