In 2024, a lot of celebrities in Hollywood mourned. Christian Oliver, a.k.a. Christian Klepser, the famed speed racer, passed away on January 5 at the age of 51 in an aircraft accident. On January 4, Oliver was returning home after a trip to the Caribbean with his two daughters, Annik and Madita, whom he shared with his wife, Jessica Klepser. The plane crashed into the water due to engine problems. The pilot of the aircraft perished in the crash as well. Oliver worked as a realtor at The Agency, a Beverly Hills agency, besides being an actor. Christian, Madita, and Annik, we shall miss you all. In a social media platform homage, Mauricio Umansky, the creator of The Agency, wished for you to rest in peace. I’m sending you and your whole Agency family my best wishes. You are an amazing spouse, friend, parent, actor, and agency. You are far more, and you made us giggle. You are cherished and missed.

News of Aden Canto’s death at the age of 42, star of The Cleaning Lady, surfaced four days later. Few people understood the depth of Dan’s spirit. On Sunday, March 10, the Welsh vocalist and frontman of the group World Party passed away at the age of 66, according to his representative. The cause of death remained undisclosed. Hit songs including “Put the Message in the Box,” “Ship of Fools,” and “Is It Like Today?” made World Party a well-known alt-rock act. Wallinger also collaborated with the late Sinead O’Connor and Steely Dan. Their wife Suzie Zamit, daughter Nancy Zamit, son Louis Wallinger, and two grandkids survive the musician.
