Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) is hosting free clinics to help seniors and people with disabilities in the 17th House District claim Property Tax/Rent Rebates according to The Herald. Bonner supported making the program more accessible by raising income limits last year. The clinics, happening on specific dates in different locations, assist with forms for eligible homeowners and renters. The program is for those 65 and older widows and widowers 50 and older, and people with disabilities 18 and older with increased income limits of $45,000. The clinics will take place at various places like Sandy Lake Township Building, North Trails Library, Slippery Rock Borough Building, Marion Township Building, Wilmington Township Building, and Jefferson Township Building. Bonner encourages those who may now qualify due to the higher income limits to attend.
