A 15-year-old homeless child has been charged by police with fatally stabbing 25-year-old Pasquale Alonso on Tuesday in Manhattan’s Sara D. Roosevelt Park.
The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information reports that at 8:32 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to Broome Street and Delancey Street after discovering Alonso and a 24-year-old male suffering from chest knife wounds.
Both of the stabbed people were taken from the Lower East Side to NYC Health and Hospitals in Bellevue, according to the NYPD. Regretfully, Alonso succumbed to his wounds, and authorities have verified that the male victim, 24, is in stable condition.

A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody by the authorities over the weekend in connection with the attack and death. The adolescent is currently facing charges of assault, attempted assault, murder, and murder.
According to reports, two males got into a physical argument with four other individuals inside Sara D. Roosevelt Park, which resulted in a deadly stabbing event. The New York Daily News reports that all parties to the altercation are thought to be homeless.
Because of its close vicinity to homeless shelters, the seven-block park has developed a reputation for drug usage and homeless encampments, according to the publication.
