In South Carolina, two teens, Rayan Al-Nasser, 16, and Zakaria Chaar, 15, lost their lives after a dare to jump into a lake ended in tragedy. Their bodies were recovered from 15 feet of water.
In yet another heartbreaking incident, three individuals, including Santos Tiul-Chen, 17, Victor Pedro-Gaspar, 19, and Pedro Miguel Pascual, 21, drowned in the Caloosahatchee River near Alva, Florida. The drownings occurred when two of the victims attempted to rescue the first victim.
