Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas’s estranged wife, has filed papers to reopen their divorce, but this doesn’t surprise him. In a statement on Tuesday, March 19, Jonas’s spokesperson said, “The petition was a legitimate formality, also the couple persists in discussing an amicable resolution.” Turner, 28, requested that her and Jonas’ divorce case be reopened in Florida’s Miami-Dade County, by filing paperwork after their interim custody agreement expired in January. In September 2023, Jonas filed for divorce from Turner. The two have children, Willia, age 3, and Delphine, age 20 months.

Turner Sued Jonas Later

“We have mutually agreed to end our marriage amicably after four glorious years of marriage,” the ex-couple, who got married in 2019, stated in a statement released together on Instagram during the time. “There are a lot of conjectural explanations for this, but in the end, this is a decision that we made together, and we genuinely hope that everyone will respect our desires for privacy for our children and ourselves.” Even though they had earlier agreed to make England their “forever home,” Turner sued Jonas at later point of that month, asserting that he was illegally keeping their girls in New York City.
