As Donald Trump leads the polls in Florida, Kamala Harris has launched her campaign to win the state’s support. On Saturday, as part of the campaign’s “Weekend of Action,” the vice president entered the Republican lion’s den in Florida, where Donald Trump has a stronghold. The Palm Beach Post reported that she hosted 2,300 events this weekend, which drew more than 11,000 new volunteers to help the Harris campaign.

Ahead of Harris’s Florida campaign this weekend, a poll by the University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Institute (PORL) found that the former president still has some opinion on the Florida primary, with Harris trailing at 42 percent and 49 percent behind.

When asked if he thought Harris could win Florida, he told Newsweek: “I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I’m not saying it’s likely. Florida is not up for grabs. survey was conducted among a sample of 774 voters in Florida between July 24-27. Voters were also asked what they thought about several changes on Florida’s 2024 ballot.

When asked about the Third Amendment, which legalizes adult use of marijuana, 64% of voters said they favored it, while only 31% did not support it. As for abortion, 69% supported the Fourth Amendment, which limits government intervention, while only 23% opposed it. Both positions are more in line with Democratic rather than Republican politics.
