TANEY COUNTY, Mo. — On Friday, January 3, Branson and Western Taney County firemen had to combat a house fire that destroyed the entire structure.
According to the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, crews were dispatched to Quail Road in Branson at 6:45 p.m. for reports of smoke in the area. A unit arrived to discover a house on fire, with fire through the roof.
The Branson Fire Department and other local workers were dispatched to aid Western Taney County firemen in combating the fire all night. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed the house, according to Western Taney firefighters.
One arrested in connection with New Year’s shooting near Club Rodeo
There was no one in the house at the time of the fire, so the Red Cross was summoned to assist the homeowners. There were no injuries among firefighters or other workers.
The Western Taney County Fire District said the State Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the house fire.
