The missing teenager is 16-year-old Jessica Collins, who was reported missing late Tuesday evening, and the Garland County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an emergency search for her. Jessica was last seen leaving her high school in Hot Springs and has not been heard from by her family again.

Law enforcement agencies have launched an intensive search to find Jessica Collins. The police from the Garland County Sheriff’s Office have dispatched several teams to search the places she was last seen: her school, the parks, and the neighborhoods.

Further, search dogs and aerial drones are being used to search a larger area and to have more possibilities to find her.

Sheriff Tom Rivers, who is in charge of the investigation, pointed out that the search was very important. “We are sparing no effort to locate Jessica as soon as possible,” Rivers said, adding that their teams were doing everything they could to bring her back safely.

He also urged the public to come forward and volunteer any information that would be helpful in the search.

Family’s Plea For Assistance

Jessica’s family is worried and has come out in public to seek assistance. Her parents, Mark and Linda Collins have been participating in the search and are appealing to anyone with information about her to report to the police.

“Jessica is a caring and responsible young lady who should be allowed to return home safely,” they said in a passionate appeal to the public, adding, “If anyone has seen her or has any information concerning her disappearance, then he or she should report to the sheriff’s office.”

The Collins family has also engaged in the use of social media to create awareness of the disappearance of Jessica.

They have posted her photograph and details of the last time she was seen in the public domain in an effort to get to as many people as possible and get a break that would lead to her whereabouts.
