Delaware State Police have apprehended 19-year-old Malachi Waters of Millsboro, Delaware following a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday morning resulting in the death of a 26-year-old man, according to the published article of SHORE NEWS NETWORK. The incident took place at approximately 10:47 a.m. on June 4, 2024 on Saint Thomas Boulevard within the town limits of Millsboro. Responding officers from the Millsboro Police Department and Delaware State Police found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts the victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification. Following the shooting Malachi Waters fled the scene in a vehicle. The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit requested to take over the investigation by the Millsboro Police Department quickly identified Waters as the suspect.
