Las Vegas, NV – This past weekend saw a series of tragic events in the Las Vegas Valley, resulting in the deaths of two women in separate crashes and a man in a fatal stabbing incident.
Early Saturday morning, Metropolitan Police Department officers discovered a man with stab wounds near a walking trail in the east valley. Despite efforts to save him, the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after being found.
On Sunday morning, a woman was killed in a crash on the 215 Beltway eastbound near Jones Boulevard. Two other individuals involved in the crash were injured and transported to a nearby hospital, according to Nevada State Police.
Additionally, Friday evening saw a person suffer life-threatening injuries after being intentionally struck by a vehicle near downtown Las Vegas.
In another tragic incident early on Memorial Day morning, a 25-year-old pedestrian was killed in a suspected DUI crash in the southwest valley. Las Vegas police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
