Bay Springs, Mississippi – In a recent development, authorities have apprehended three minors and one adult in connection to a shooting incident intertwined with a burglary case in Bay Springs. The collaboration between Bay Springs police officers and Scott County Sheriff’s Department deputies led to the arrests, marking significant progress in the ongoing investigation.
The incident, which transpired earlier this month, originated from an attempted burglary on Ainsworth Drive in Bay Springs on April 10. Following the attempted break-in, South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel reported a gunshot victim seeking medical attention. The victim revealed to law enforcement officials that an exchange of gunfire ensued between himself and four individuals who had forcibly entered his residence.
The suspects involved were identified as Le’Sammie Teachey, aged 22, and three minors: Javarius Kincaid, and twin brothers Travion and Davion Keys, all aged 16.
