After a year-long struggle with cervical cancer, Jessica Pettway, who was most renowned for her YouTube videos about beauty and fashion, passed away at the age of 36.

According to her sister Reyni Brown’s social media posts, Jessica Pettway, a popular YouTuber with a following for her beauty, fashion, and lifestyle videos, passed away on March 11 following a fight with stage three cervical cancer. Her age was 36.

“Today is my birthday, and all I could ever hope for is for God to bring you back to this world,” Reyni captioned a picture of herself and Jessica on Instagram on March 15. “I lost my beautiful big sister 2 days ago and my heart has never felt pain like this.”

“The most amazing, strong, confident” woman Reyni had ever met, Jessica “filled her life with so much wisdom, prayed for me, and helped me become a better mother,” she continued.

“Life won’t be the same without her crazy laugh, pranks, or jokes,” she continued. It feels like a connection between us was severed when we lose a sibling. You have my undying love.”
