North West, the ten-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, discussed her upcoming album in her first on-camera interview the day she went on stage at Rolling Loud California.
Kim Kardashian Helping Out
On March 15, the reporter’s and the event’s Instagram pages shared the interview’s video. “It’s gonna be great,” North remarked of her upcoming album, Elementary School Dropout.
Jazlyn then enquired as to whether North and her father will be working together on the album. “Maybe,” she replied, grinning and lifting her hands. “We don’t know yet!”
Jazlyn thanked North’s mother in the Instagram post’s description, writing, “Thank you Ms. @kimkardashian for helping out.”
At Rolling Loud California, North—who has performed onstage with her dad numerous times and did her first-ever off-camera interview to Interview magazine when she was four years old—played the song “Talking / Once Again” from Kanye’s Vultures album.
Working On The Album
She went on stage with her friends, which included her cousin Penelope Disick, and as she performed, the audience erupted in applause as she sang the line, “It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie.”
On March 10, North made her new album announcement. “I’ve been working on an album,” she declared to the attendees of the release listening party for Ty Dolla $ign, ¥$, and Kanye’s impending follow-up album, Vultures 2.
North has shown interest in taking over for both her dad’s Yeezy label and her mother’s SKIMS business in addition to her musical endeavors.
