According to the U.S. Department of Defense to help the people in Gaza, U.S. Army ships are going to the Eastern Mediterranean. They want to build a pier there to bring aid food and defense amid the ongoing crisis to the civilians. This pier will be able to handle a lot of aid food and defense every day about 2 million meals. The United States is also dropping food from planes and trying to open land routes to get help to the people in Gaza amid the ongoing crisis. They’re working with other organizations like the U.S. Agency for International Development to make sure everyone gets what they need.

U.S. Announces $300 Million Aid Package for Ukraine’s Defense Amid Escalating Conflict

The person in charge of announcing this aid Major General Ryder said they were able to give this money because they were smart with the way they spent money before. But even with this help, Ukraine still needs more budget amid the ongoing crisis because the fighting keeps going. Major General Ryder wants Congress to quickly approve more money so Ukraine can get what it needs to stay safe. The situation in Ukraine is really serious because Russian forces keep attacking. Major General Ryder said Congress must give more money to help Ukraine amid the ongoing crisis. Even though they’re giving $300 million now, it’s not enough to stop the attacks. Ryder wants everyone to work together to make sure Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself and amid the ongoing crisis from getting worse.
