Erie, PA – State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, in collaboration with his team, is extending an invitation to Erie residents to attend an upcoming seminar regarding the Property Tax, Rent Rebate Program. This initiative comes in the wake of the program’s recent extension, aimed at providing essential information to eligible individuals.
Scheduled for February 29th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Millcreek Township Building on 3608 West 26th Street, the seminar aims to educate residents on the program’s enhancements and their implications. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about eligibility criteria, required application forms, and the anticipated rebates for the current year. However, it’s important to note that applications will not be processed during the event.
The Property Tax, Rent Rebate Program targets Pennsylvania widows and widowers aged 50 and above, as well as individuals with disabilities earning $45,000 or less annually. Rebates, funded by the PA Lottery and gaming, range from $380 to $1,000.
State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro emphasized the importance of prompt application submission, highlighting the significance of the rebate checks for many residents. By applying early, individuals may expedite the processing time by the Department of Revenue.
