Charles Escalera, 21, has been apprehended by authorities in connection with the tragic demise of 18-year-old Josiah Kilman, a student at Campbellsville University. The arrest was made on Saturday evening following a warrant issued earlier in the day for Escalera’s alleged involvement in Kilman’s murder.
Campbellsville Police responded to a report of a suspicious individual in a barn situated on the Green County-Taylor County line around 5:15 p.m. Kentucky State Police swiftly intervened and successfully located Escalera, effecting his arrest without any untoward incident. He is currently slated for detention in the Taylor County Detention Center pending further legal proceedings.
