BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team is set to make a stylish statement this Sunday as they introduce alternate uniforms in collaboration with adidas and Fear of God, a prominent American luxury brand. The debut will take place during their matchup against Northwestern at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
The collaboration between Indiana University and Fear of God, founded by Jerry Lorenzo in 2011, holds significance beyond just fashion. Lorenzo, with familial ties to Indiana, has drawn inspiration from his heritage to craft these unique uniforms, marking the beginning of Fear of God Athletics’ journey into NCAA partnerships.
As part of the special occasion, the first 100 students attending the game will receive an exclusive Fear of God Athletics tee, commemorating the debut of the alternate uniforms. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Indiana T-shirts and hoodies at FearofGod.com and Confirmed, but only for a limited time.
The Indiana women’s basketball team will also participate in this collaboration, sporting the alternate uniforms on February 22nd against Iowa at 8 p.m. ET in Assembly Hall.
This partnership extends beyond Indiana University, as the University of Miami will also showcase these distinctive uniforms. The Miami men’s basketball team is scheduled to wear them on February 21st against Duke, while the women’s team will don the uniforms on February 29th against Pittsburgh.
For fans eager to get their hands on Fear of God Athletics merchandise, team hoodies, tees, and pants will be available at each university’s bookstore, starting Sunday.
The alternate uniforms will feature exclusive colorways of the One Model in Carbon/Green and Carbon/Red, set to launch on fearofgod.com on February 23rd.
Indiana basketball enthusiasts and fashion aficionados alike are eagerly anticipating the debut of these collaborative uniforms, which promise to bring a fresh and unique aesthetic to the court.
