Body Found in South Milwaukee Pizza Hut Dumpster: Homicide Investigation Underway

The South Milwaukee Police Department has launched a homicide investigation after the discovery of a body in a dumpster outside a Pizza Hut establishment. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Alex Stengel, was found deceased in a garbage cart on Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the 100 block of North Chicago Avenue.

Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death, but they allege that Stengel was a victim of foul play. A 31-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 11, in connection with the case, though his identity has not been revealed. Charges are expected to be filed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing, with the Wisconsin State Crime Lab providing assistance to local law enforcement.
