In a significant development in the case of 17 missing weapons from a gunsmithing business in Loma, Colorado, authorities have successfully recovered 15 of the stolen guns and four missing suppressors. The breakthrough came as 24-year-old Raymon Chavez, 20-year-old Adrian Damaso, and 24-year-old Leonel Valencia were arrested and are currently held at the Mesa County Detention Facility. All three suspects face charges related to the burglary.

Raymon Chavez was apprehended after investigators discovered photos of the stolen weapons on his social media accounts. With the help of this digital trail, authorities tracked Chavez to his residence, where one of the stolen guns was found in plain view on the front seat of his car.

Leonel Valencia, on the other hand, was pulled over in a high-risk traffic stop, during which two of the stolen guns were recovered. Additionally, one of the guns seized during the stop was linked to a theft-from-car case involving the Grand Junction Police Department. Valencia was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from the Mesa County Sheriff’s office for an unrelated incident.
