After he assaulted her in east Fort Worth early on Wednesday, a lady shot her boyfriend once in the torso out of concern for her life, according to police.

What Happened?

According to Fort Worth police, the incident took place at the girlfriend’s flat in the 3700 block of Paradise Hills Drive at around one in the morning.

The man arrived, forced his way through the front door, and assaulted the girlfriend, the girlfriend reported to the police. Police claim that the woman shot the man once when he approached her aggressively.

According to police, the man’s injury is potentially fatal. He was brought to the Grapevine Baylor Scott and White Medical Centre. A police arrest was not reported.
